A Parting Gift

Warning: Spoilers
All this soap opera around psycho Sasha's return, and Pride suddenly learning he might be the father of her teenage son, just before sealing the deal with Rita, is really annoying. They're not even bothering to link this mess to NCIS jurisdiction. Best case scenario - this severe downturn in quality (including the fling, or more, between the two newest agents) might be how the writers decided to thank faithful, long-term viewers before the impending final curtain. That's assuming the recent suckiness is intended to cause fans to miss the series less.

It's working.

this episode really sucks

This episode has so many error and so many inconsistencies the show runners and the writers didn't do a good job and they were lazy and have the new fan question old fans telling them that they are wrong about the timeline. When the old fans know more about NCIS New Orleans then the new fans do. I hate that the show runners and withers turned Dwayne Pride into a cheater as well as Pride's timeline is totally messed and screwed up now. Which makes the show confusing. I wished they hadn't done this episode or Once A Upon A Time. I wish the show runner and writers did the other two unaired episodes from season 6 instead.

Appalling acting and a poor padded out story

It's hard to know where to start my criticisms about this soap opera. Yes, it's no longer a thriller about what is supposed to be connected with the criminal investigation in US Navy in New Orleans.

This particular episode, as part 2 of the previous one, has no story that brings any kind of tension, connection with the NCIS and is padded out to two episodes by two back stories which are totally uninteresting.

The writers must be replaced and all the actors (except CC Pounder) go back to acting school.
