Here is a highly recommended piece of history that had to be shared. My origins are far from Sind but this documentary gives a very good perspective, in a neutral manner, of what happened around Sind after the Pakistan/India split and among Muslims and Hindu. It also helps to understand lots of families around the world that had to leave their origins and become (successfully) part of other culture and fit wherever they went. It includes various testimonies from different generations letting you understand how impactful has been for their communities. Congratulations to the team, it is very well executed and thanks for the life lesson it shares.

The movie tells a story not very well known to the big public. The history of the Sindh land and its people, the conflicts during the last century, the exodus of its habitants, and the current situation. The movie does it through a very moving central story.

It is not the typical documentary of interviews (of course there are some of them to give some context, and those serve to approach us to its core story), but it's a very sensitive movie with real people and their issues and struggles. Those are told in the picture in a very touching way.

The music and images are so evocative and spectacular and really help to make the overall experience very immersive and pleasant. Highly recommended!!
