Nice Interview

It Was the Eighties! (2009)

*** 1/2 (out of 4)

This featurette has Linda Hamilton talking about her role in the cult film CHILDREN OF THE CORN. She starts off talking about how she had to audition for the role and also shares the fact that she was a fan of Stephen King going into the production. She then begins to talk about various things that happened during the production including the budget getting cut all the time and there's also some fun stories told about her co-stars as well as shooting in Iowa. Fans of Hamilton or the film will enjoy this 14 minute interview as she comes across quite well and it's nice to see someone who isn't ashamed of a horror film they made. Also nice to hear are the stories dealing with her reaction to the film being remembered today. There's certainly nothing ground-breaking here but it delivers what the fans would want to see.
