Best episode of the final season (thus far)!

Warning: Spoilers
And I'll tell you why. Because it's the perfect counterpoint to every naysayer who is still bad-mouthing the "Watchdog" episode of NCIS:TOS.

The military dog that was stolen, in this episode, was trained to track and attack (whichever one was needed the most, at the time) in a non-English language. And, here, the dognapper was using her to sniff out a hidden stash of illegal narcotics for his own profit. After first gaining her trust by volunteering to be an assistant civilian handler for the dog!

That same plot device could have been used in "Watchdog." Terrorists, out to seize the missiles being transported by that armored ordnance truck, could have trained Lucy the Pit-bull to run across that highway, deliberately! In which case, there would've been no debate (on or off the TV screen) as to whether NCIS had any legit reason to investigate where Lucy had come from.

Thankfully, the abducted Navy dog in this case was reunited with her handler. The rest of us can only hope that the future Mr. And Mrs. Duane Pride have an equally happy ending, this coming Sunday.

Good show

Wrapping up towards the inevitable end 3-4 episodes down the road. I really like Darryl Mitchell, and would love to see him transferred to Hawaii. Alzheimers is a dreadful disease and I hope and pray I never experience the conditions.

Annoying Much

As many reviews have stated in this season and the sixth season, this is no longer about the military. It's hard to believe that Pride and Sasha created the most annoying child since Tyrik from Power.

When is Sebastian going to be in a meaningful relationship? Every time the writers bring in a possible love interest for him she turns out to either be a criminal or homesick.

I'm enjoying the flirting between Carter and Hannah but it's too late in the game to make their relationship a nice storyline.

Will Rita and Pride ever get married? What about Pride's daughter and her fiancé? What has happen to the adopted kids of Loretta?

And finally....wear the mask or don't wear them but the writers need to make up their minds.

Oh dear, Oh dear, Oh dear

This episode has just two 10-minute stories and the rest is a soap opera..

The writers have totally lost any ideas how to write a screenplay story related to the Naval Criminal Investigation Service.

If this is really the final series - good. If not, then the next series needs new writers.

Since when did this become a soap opera.

Loosing interest in this rapidly. The 'family relationships' sections are boring and intellectually tedious. It's like they have unused story lines from other shows that they have adapted to NCIS NO. Difficult to stay awake.

And stop using those damned masks.

And so the slide continues

The good news - this episode had a pretty good plotline that was actually related to NCIS' jurisdiction. The bad - more soap opera around Sasha and Conner and Mom, oh my! Maybe Plan B is to rework the format to be picked up as a daytime drama. They might call it Days of Our Big Easy Lives. Other suggestions?
