Fine finale
lotekguy-124 May 2021
After panning the last two episodes in my reviews of them, I feel the need to give credit when it's earned. This last hour with the crew played out as well as anyone could hope. A final bit of relevant action; the right amount of sentimentality, well short of schmaltz level; an ode to what makes New Orleans uniquely special; and all characters where we'd want them to be. I'll miss them more than I would have for the past two weeks. Thanks for finishing on a high note.

Good times? Classy New Orleans ending -- bye guys, thanks!

Such a unique take on the NCIS franchise with NOLA as such a great character. The chase scene through the park was such a celebration of that! We all have a tender spot for NO after Katrina, and this show seemed to be about helping it get on it's feel again. Such a celebration of a unique culture in our strange country. A wedding is a good way to end a show, this one was lovely, wrapping up a long story line in a good way, too. Great cast, gonna miss them all. Will have to watch the whole show, 7 seasons this summer just to review the whole thing, the amazing adventures offered through the years. Thanks to all, cast, crew, writers, etc. For great entertainment.

All good things...

Come to an end and NCIS New Orleans is no exception. This finale rounded off most points fairly convincingly. The show lost its way over the seasons but came back strong. Sad to see it go but happy with the conclusion. Laissez les Bon Temps Rouler.

Loved the Farewell....Will Miss It.

For a series finale, they did a good job of tying up loose ends. I loved this show and will miss it.

The ending should have been for NCIS not NOLA

Awesome finale... I cried through a lot of it! I am flabbergasted and so disappointed that this series was canceled. It has stayed consistently high quality - better in every way than the original NCIS has performed of late. I have watched all three shows, every episode, from the very beginning as each was introduced. New Orleans was, in my humble opinion, the leader of the pack for the last few years. Pride has been the glue... love Bakula - the quintessential King. Gregorio - absolutely amazing... seriously a hilarious breakout star. Love Loretta. Triple P is great. Wasn't sure Sebastian would be a good agent, but I was wrong. Was sad when Percy and LaSalle left, but the energy didn't miss a beat. Hated to see Hamilton leave - love Steven Weber. Pride and he had fantastic working chemistry. Was never a Brody fan. Like the Hannah/Quinton relationship. Love the Rita/Pride story! Feel like Mark Harmon is trying to replicate their chemistry with Pam Dawber. This last episode was truly stellar - especially considering how little time they had to prepare for it. Glad they got Laurel in, and that it ended well for Jimmy, Sasha, and Connor. The big star... New Orleans. The run through the French Quarter, the reception at the TruTone, and the second line were wonderful nods to a city that wasn't just a backdrop but a character. Sad to say goodbye to such beloved characters and all the possibilities that still existed to explore in NOLA.

At Least 1 more season
duku6514 June 2021
I struggled in the early episodes without Lucas Black but the season really picked up.

7 seasons & CBS couldn't at least give them half of season to wrap things up. NCIS NEW ORLEANS deserved that.

Too many unanswered questions left.

Solid finale but show still had more stories to tell

Warning: Spoilers
I enjoyed the finale overall, glad most stories had some form of closure. The "I love this city" early was a nice touch & the wedding onwards was emotional & very happy they used the music & city vibe to finish it off! I was rather disappointed the corrupt cops storyline went nowhere after getting them fired, I thought there would be some form of attempted payback & I would've liked to see more of Hannah & Carter's relationship! Overall a fine finale but felt it finished one season too early.

It Was a Mercy Killing

It was time to put the show out of its misery. The writers were clearly out of ideas given their endless use of the "everyone's out to get Pride" trope. Coupled with this season's resurrection of the Sasha Broussard character they didn't have anything more to say. There were some good episodes with great characters but it was time to wind it up.
