Striga, you absolute Berserk ripoff. She literally becomes Guts...

Isaac's soliloquy was amazing!

There is this scene where Isaac wanders into the magician's castle and adresses the statue of the man he defeated. In an animation where violence is rampant, that inner view into Isaac's psyche is peace made flesh. It's really a character development done right. He has this epiphany, this réalisation about how he went from a mere tool that others used to their benefits, to the hand that wields and weaves its own destiny. The spirale starecase, that leads to the library, where this one sided exchange with the inanimate statue takes place, is very reminiscent of the famous rambrandt's a philosophe in meditation and this is exactly what we're witnessing: a semblance of an esprit d'escalier where Isaac recreates the conversation he had earlier with one of his creatures about its nature and purpose in existence and everything he could have added to enrich it, thus coming to the realization that he himself is not the same man anymore!

I just loved the wording and the unfurling of this scene, as if it was a ritualistic meditation of some sort! It flowed into being!

Now that I got this out of my chest, going for the rest! Hopefully I will find other hidden gems!
