Warning: Spoilers
Dallas DNA, 2009 Investigation Discovery channel program, was created to enlighten America about the process of appealing convictions in Texas based on DNA testing. It also served to educate the public on Watkins' Innocence Project. D.A. Craig Watkins and his staff selected candidates likely to benefit by DNA testing. The candidates were chosen from a pool of convicted Texas prisoners, all claiming to have been wrongfully convicted. This program has set scores of Texas prisoners free, based on the results of DNA testing. On the other hand, it has confirmed the guilt of others, upholding their convictions. This program is the 'final' appeal for those prisoners.
