The episode directly follows the events of Episode #3.6 (2010) when Sgt Viv James (Geff Francis) is killed in the HM Prison Fenchurch riots. His funeral starts the episode.
Ray and Chris sing "Men Of Harlech", a traditional Welsh hymn that was sung in the final battle scene in the 1964 film Zulu which is based on the Anglo-Zulu war of 1879.
