The release of PlayStation’s newest exclusive title Rise of the Ronin is just right around the corner, the setting and combat heavily resemble that of fellow PlayStation title: Ghost of Tsushima has fans of the franchise covered until new content or a sequel.
Both games are set in Japan which will lead to similar environments and builds of infrastructure and even animations but the developer, Team Ninja didn’t take any chances and bumped their game to avoid any unwanted, yet inevitable comparisons.
Rise of the Ronin Took Notes From Ghost of Tsushima
Rise of the Ronin will have similar gameplay elements to Ghost of Tsushima but made it even better.

With each passing year, Tiff is becoming more and more prominent on the film festival circuit, with more and more Oscar-primed films making their debut out in Canada. And with the initial line-up announced for the 2013 Toronto International Film Festival, the trend is definitely continuing.
Amongst the many, many films making their presence felt out in Toronto will be Steve McQueen’s highly anticipated 12 Years a Slave, which launched a powerful first trailer earlier in the month. The film sees Chiwetel Ejiofor lead a fantastic cast, with Michael Fassbender returning to work for his Hunger / Shame director, alongside the likes of Brad Pitt, Benedict Cumberbatch, Sarah Paulson, Paul Giamatti, and many more.
Opening the festival will be Bill Condon’s The Fifth Estate, which stars Benedict Cumberbatch as WikiLeaks founder, Julian Assange, alongside Daniel Brühl, Laura Linney, Anthony Mackie, and Stanley Tucci.

When "Star Wars: Episode I - The Phantom Menace" first premiered on May 19, 1999, fan anticipation was feverish following 16 years without a new "Star Wars" feature film. Buoyed by a then-very-young Internet, "Star Wars" fans spent the lead-up to "The Phantom Menace" attempting to figure out just what secrets George Lucas had in store for the first prequel. That's a stark contrast to this week, which finds "The Phantom Menace" being re-released in 3D to a collective shrug amongst even the most die hard "Star Wars" faithful. In an effort to at least try to illustrate the frenzy that was the original "The Phantom Menace" release, Moviefone scoured some old posts on TheForce.net -- one of the few Star Wars fan sites still in existence that was also around in 1999 -- and, what turned out to be a great source for unsubstantiated rumors: Entertainment Weekly's 1997 set visit. So, with that,...

It’s 2010, and while there will be plenty of great anime in the coming weeks and months, AniMania is starting the new year with something a little different by taking a look at the live action sword drama, “Ichi”.
“Ichi” is the latest in the long line of works to draw on the Zatoichi blind swordsman mythos, but with a twist. Ichi, the title character, is a beautiful swords-woman, who travels from village to village in search of the only man to ever show her kindness. Along the way, she meets Toma, who at first comes across as a hopeless bungler, dependent on Ichi to get him out of one sticky situation after another. But as time goes on, we learn that he is hiding a tragic past. There just might be more to this clumsy, would-be samurai than his humorous antics let on.
Live action is nothing new, of course.
