. . . this review must necessarily be limited to the Quick Draw M-c-G-r-a-w episode titled DYNAMITE FRIGHT. Is this cartoon too scary to be shown to young tykes? Given its title, that's a fair question. Most of the violence here is threatened, but not shown. For instance, a bad guy threatens to dynamite a vital piece of town infrastructure. Of course, it would be a spoiler to reveal exactly what happens at this particular juncture in the story. Later, a couple characters face imminent drownings, and a dog growls at someone. Most toddlers have had threatening run-ins with canines, and many have not yet learned to swim, doubtless adding an element of Existential Danger to this aspect of the film. Surely parental guidance is in order regarding DYNAMITE FRIGHT. If, after due consideration, you stream it for your youngsters, please plan on allocating at least an hour to debrief them about their feelings as stimulated by the goings on here.
