They need to retire this series, this is just embarrassing
There used to be a time when James produced actual visceral anger when doing this series, the printers episode being the archetypal example. Nowadays, we get this absolutely atrocious take of the series. It's clear James doesn't exactly have a problem with Micro SD cards, and it's obvious he didn't write the script, nor did he bother to even attempt to display anger. He sounds bored and stiff as he lifelessly reads the words. The enforced censorship, a problem which started a year ago, is still prevalent. It would be funnier with a bleep covering the swear, rathe than just reading out the initials of a word they dare not say at the beginning or else YouTube won't give them money. But the most shockingly inept part was by far the "animation". After videos which were entirely (bored) voiceover, they decided to do the most needless attempt at animation I've had the misfortune to witness. It's just thick black lines, and the "lip-sync" is hardly ever correct. This series needs to be retired, or else Cinemassacre is just going to keep digging an even deeper hole and cause more old-time fans to bleed out over time.
