The director had the cast stay true to the script, but also gave the actors freedom to improvise. Lots of scenes during filming were ad libbed on the spot
Sal Ozbay, Gareth Mason and AG. Longhurst were all chosen from a UK Gold TV advert about a made up boy band that couldn't sing.
The second names of the characters: Lionel Shultz, Colin Winkler, and Dave Hagman were all used by the director as a tribute to some of his favorite classic TV actors and shows from 70's and 80' Larry Hagman (Dallas) Dwight Shultz (The A-Team) Henry Winkler (Happy Days). The A-Team theme can also be heard when Lenny Stone's phone goes off.
