Wendell Pierce's Baton Rouge home fell victim to the Louisiana flooding, The Wire alum revealed on Sunday. The 52-year-old Louisiana native, whose parents lost their Pontchartrain Park home when Hurricane Katrina hit New Orleans in 2005, shared the devastating news on Twitter Sunday. "My neighbors & I have flooded in Baton Rouge," he tweeted. "I am reminded of the generosity given to my family during Katrina. Now we will care for you." The actor took time to respond to a Twitter user who also lost his home in the flooding and raised the question of destroyed family heirlooms to the actor.
