At first I was skeptical. But after watching it through I've realized this is a cinematic master piece. Not as great as Scary Movie 4 but definitely better than Resident Evil for sure. If you like horror movies this is definitely your one stop shop before you die yourself. I especially liked the characters Micro, Van and Duncan they were very deep characters I could only understand after my seventh watch and even then I still realize they get very more complex every time I watch this horror master piece, it almost like a phycological horror in that sense once you start to piece together the mystery behind the ghoul house. Like i said its a must watch for most horror enthusiasts but it had a lot of room for more, such as having van have more screen time to fully flesh out his characters deep story that is very well hidden in hints and easter eggs, I'm lucky enough to have caught them after watching it for the 5th time. I have to say the director really went all out on the hidden lore of this possible franchise. Over all though I have to say this film is a 7/10 for it compelling narrative and the characters charisma during the flick. Cant wait for Ghoul House 2!
