Kate McKinnon is Back!

So happy to see that Kate McKinnon is back. She brought back an energy to the episode that this season was desperately missing. Some of the funniest sketches of the season.

Great sketches! When weekend update give chances to new cast they never dissappoint. And Kate Mckinnon is back! Billie is great at acting. All around good episode!

Watched this on Billie's birthday and didn't even know it!

I sought this episode out tonight, because I am a pretty big Billie Eilish fan. She is so beautiful, and so sweet. She reminds me of a blue-eyed Joan Jett too, in the mouth and eyes (they both have those deep bedroom eyes). And her new hairdo is just perfect for her! She's never looked better! Yup, I think I've got a little crush.

This was a laugh-out-loud funny episode! Right from the opening segment with the delightful Kate Mckinnon, I was chuckling away! And how nice that it happened during the Christmas season, making Billie's appearance all the more special.

I loved every skit- especially the Covid related one at the start, the Santa song, and Weekend Update with the report that if cats were humans, they would be classified as psychopaths, and dogs "would be #MeToo'd right away" (the perverts, LOL!).

This was one of the most fun TV watching experiences I've had in a while, haha! Yay for genuine laughter- and bravo Billie! Not sure how I managed to start watching this on your birthday (just found out by coming onto her page that she was born December 18th, and it was the 18th on the West Coast when I was watching this). Truly magical sign that everything is happening right on time- and laughter really is the best medicine!

One of the best, if not THE best, SNL episode I've ever seen! And what a pleasant surprise to see Miley Cyrus in this episode too! I'm not used to more than one big star per SNL episode, but this one gave us two! Just a great episode!

The Return Of Kate McKinnon
quinnwalton-4317613 December 2021
Warning: Spoilers
Coming into this episode, I wasn't expecting much. I was expecting something that wasn't as bad as Kim Kardashian or Elon Musk yet couldn't live up to the high bar that Simu Liu set during his hosting gig in the previous episode. For me, the only reason that this episode deserves to be rated as what I call decent is because Kate McKinnon made her grand return after being absent in all the previous episodes of the season while she was off shooting a Joe Exotic TV show. In my opinion, the best sketch was "Christmas Cards". Billie, as I expected, didn't do very well as the host. For the first time this season, I actually had to skip the musical performances because the strobe lighting that Billie was using almost made me have a seizure. I would also like to mention that I may be a tad bit biased because I have never been a big Billie Eilish fan. I don't like her singing and she has always rubbed me the wrong way in interviews, coming off as a rude and entitled person. Overall, the host/musical guest wasn't that good, but the cast did good as usual.

In Alphabetical Order: Fire Che, Johnson, Johnson, Jost, and Yang

CRACKED magazine strikes again! The show is slowly circling the drain.

Billie Eilish's wig, costume and makeup changes were fun to see. She did great.

The Tik Tok bit went on way too long. I looked like they used it for filler.
