First episode to include Howard Wolowitz's (Simon Helberg ) voiceover. Howard would also be the second The Big Bang Theory (2007) cast member besides Sheldon and after Amy Farrah Fowler (Mayim Bialik ) to be a voiceover. While Kaley Cuoco, who played Penny in The Big Bang Theory (2007), did a voiceover in this show it was not as Penny, but rather as the swimming pool in a dream sequence of Sheldon's trying to coax him into the pool.
On President Hagemeyer's shelf in her office are little statues of owls which reference The Owl House (2020) which Wendie Malick (President Hagemeyer) plays Eda the Owl lady and is a main character on the show.
This is the episode that explains why Sheldon hates engineering, but doesn't explain why he eventually took it out on Howard in The Big Bang Theory (2007).
This is the first and only appearance of Lance Reddick as he had died one year and four months later from heart disease.
