Favorito so far
fancanelokristina01524 March 2022
Season 5 started so slow and boring, at one point I wondered what's the point of it, but this is my favorite episode so far in this season we will see the rest. The old charm is back. Sam is such a light, I love her view on life. Love her house, cooking, style, I don't like her kids 😁 Duke is maybe only one bearable.

I generally love this show

But in some episodes, like this one, one of the kids (in this case, Frankie,) behaves like such an egregious s**tface, that I find it painful to watch. I should say that I have sympathy for Sam, which I do, but I feel like her character simply didn't set any boundaries for these kids, and she generally lets them talk to her however they want, act however they want, and do whatever they want. They keep doing it because there are never any consequences for any of their antics. I hope her actual daughters are better, more compassionate, more thoughtful humans than the characters that are loosely based on them.

Some unbearable kids these are

I'm sorry but Frankie is so unbearably annoying that it makes me frustrated to watch. She always has been but it's as if she never really grows and matures over the course of 5 seasons. The other two are equally annoying at times but not nearly as much. It's also upsetting to see how much Sam puts up with their BS.

Frankie Has Gotten Worse
Dog-River6 April 2022
Warning: Spoilers
This episode was hard for me to watch, I had to actually turn it off, because I couldn't stomach Frankie treating her mom like garbage anymore. I did finish it a few days later, because I wanted to give a proper review. It got better after the whole wedding photos thing and I'm glad Frankie eventually apologized.

Frankie has always been a bit much at times. You have to put some of it on teenage hormones (we all were teens once), but when she goes too far and Sam just takes it, it makes it frustrating to watch. Frankie talks about human rights, world issues, etc. But lacks the empathy for her own mother a lot of the time, ex. The wedding photos. Like another reviewer said, Duke is the only kid bearable. Sam deserves better than how her selfish mother usually treats her and her two other children.
