What a great portrait about Aristide Maillol in his native town Banyuls. Wonderful views in his home, garden, in the streets around, meeting his neighbours when strolling in the mountain. We see him from morning to evening, what he does when it is too hot. And what a sequence when we see Maillol painting during the last hours of sun. And the best of that unique documentary is to hear Maillol speak. Splendid.
