Alex Reid has defended his controversial rape scene in new movie Killer B*tch, saying that it was actually a love scene.
Comparing himself to acting legend Robert DeNiro, the cage fighter told Star magazine:
“I just wish that people would realise that scene is a love scene. I mean, Robert De Niro does love scenes and no one brands him a pervert!”
On the staff of the movie, who blasted him for failing to promote the film he said:
“The guys behind Killer Bitch have hit out at me for saying they are using me for publicity. Of course they are!
“I keep seeing pictures of me being used to promote the film, so that says it all. I pulled out of going to the premiere.
“I wasn’t friends with anyone on the film apart from one guy, so it doesn’t surprise me that they have been slagging off my acting.
