Lisa and Brian’s time on The Ultimatum Season 2 was brief but memorable. Although she was the one who issued the ultimatum, it didn’t take long for Lisa to start second-guessing her decision to go on the show. At a cocktail party ahead of the choice ceremony, Lisa blew up when she saw Brian chatting with Riah.
“You know what, you can go ahead and talk to her, I really don’t care,” she said to Brian. She then slapped him and stormed out. Their fight continued in the restaurant parking lot.

The Ultimatum is back on Netflix and messier than ever. Season 2 of the partner-swapping reality show follows five (and later four) couples who can’t decide whether to get married to break up. After trial marriages with other cast members, each pair gets back together before making a final choice about their future.
Each season of The Ultimatum is filmed in a specific city. Season 1 took place in Austin, Texas, while the spinoff The Ultimatum: Queer Love was set in San Diego. So, where was The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On Season 2 filmed?

Netflix usually doesn’t make it super obvious where reality shows like The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On are filmed. But a little sleuthing reveals that filming for The Ultimatum Season 2 took place in Charlotte, North Carolina.

Vanessa Lachey broke down in tears while discussing how therapy helped her become a better partner to husband Nick Lachey. The emotional display came during season 2, episode 6 (“The Changeover”) of Netflix’s “The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On”, when the show’s co-host shared with the four remaining couples why it’s so important for a relationship to not only lean on your partner but also trust them.
The “NCIS: Hawaii” star and her husband were intently listening to Riah explain why she didn’t get the full trial marriage experience with James, who ultimately revealed he couldn’t give it his all because he didn’t know how to be vulnerable and be open about a painful childhood experience that spilled over into his young adult life.

It was The Ultimatum twist no one saw coming. Lisa and Brian signed on for season 2 of the Netflix reality series in the hopes that it would help them figure out their future as a couple. And in a way, it did. After Lisa discovered she was pregnant, she and Brian opted to leave the show early rather than continue with the process.
The couple’s decision to quit filming The Ultimatum Season 2 after just two episodes stunned viewers, many of whom wondered what was really going on with the pair. The show didn’t provide any update on whether they ultimately split up or stayed together, and their social media profiles didn’t shed much light on the situation either. Fortunately, Lisa and Brian shared an update on their status after the show premiered.

Netflix’s The Ultimatum is all about testing relationships. But for one season 2 couple, the experience proved to be too much. New episodes of the reality dating series dropped on August 23, and things got off to a dramatic start thanks to one person’s dramatic revelation.
[Warning: This article contains spoilers for The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On Season 2.]
Lisa had second thoughts about signing up for ‘The Ultimatum’
One of five couples on The Ultimatum Season 2, Lisa, 31, and Brian, 28, have been together for almost two years. Lisa – the ultimatum giver – was ready to take the next step and get married. Brian wanted to wait until they were more financially secure. But was that just an excuse? Lisa feared it might be and worried she was “wasting” her time with her boyfriend.
“If he’s not ready to propose, then I’m ready to move on,” she announced in episode 1.
It was Lisa’s idea to go on The Ultimatum.

Ashleigh Warren signed up for Max’s reality series Swiping America because she wanted to find love. But her journey didn’t go exactly as she expected. The dating-focused docuseries, which released its final two episodes on June 29, follows four New Yorkers as they travel to eight cities across the U.S. The show’s producers did the swiping, sending the quartet out on a series of blind dates with local singles.
Ash struggled to connect with her dates on ‘Swiping America’
As you might imagine, some dates went better than others. During their first stop in Asheville, North Carolina, Ash clicked with Jordan emotionally, but she didn’t “see anything there intimately.” In Miami, a seemingly promising second date went south when Zad revealed she was vegan and Ash’s meat-eating would be an issue.
As the cast jetted from city to city, Ash found herself struggling to connect with anyone.

JoAnna Garcia Swisher knows motherhood is a balancing act. "I struggle with it just as much as every mom does. I mean, we're pulled in so many different directions," she tells Popsugar. Still, she wants all moms to know that they should give themselves credit where credit is due.
"We're multitasking to the supreme, so I think it's so important to really just give yourself a little grace and to know that we can't do everything every day," she says. "As hard as it may seem when you're in the heat of the moment, even stepping away for just a few minutes is so important."
Swisher certainly has a lot going on. She serves as the host of Netflix's "The Ultimatum: Queer Love," a spinoff of "The Ultimatum" that focuses on queer couples exclusively, and stars in "Sweet Magnolias," which is set to release its third season in July.

Peter Chernin’s global multi-genre studio The North Road Company has acquired Turkish film and TV powerhouse Karga Seven Pictures in its first major move to expand its international market footprint.
Karga Seven originated as a factual content creator in the U.S. before moving into Turkish scripted films and series. Karga Seven’s founders — Emmy-nominated producers Sarah Wetherbee, Emre Sahin and Kelly McPherson — will remain in leadership roles, according to a statement. Wetherbee and Sahin will serve as global co-CEOs with McPherson as head of English-language content, alongside industry veteran and newly hired Ömer Müjdat Özgüner, who will now serve as Karga Seven’s Turkey CEO.

The world of “The Ultimatum” has officially expanded with the new spinoff, “The Ultimatum: Queer Love.” Following the same format as “Marry or Move On,” the first season of Netflix’s reality show, five pairs are at a turning point in their relationship and one has given an ultimatum. At the end of the eight-week experience — during which they enter a trial marriage with someone new — each individual must decide if they want to marry their original partner, be with their new match or leave alone.
In “Queer Love,” the group is made up of women and nonbinary cast members, half of whom are looking to marry their more reluctant partners — or so they say. Here, executive producer and Kinetic Content CEO Chris Coelen breaks down the differences in casting, the inconsistency in pronouns throughout the season, the choice to cast someone straight as a host and much more.

It’s time for the Netflix reality show universe to unite in one show. Perfect Match will have familiar stars competing to find love. Many fans were shocked to find out Bartise Bowden is one of them, and he joked about hanging out with other “red flag” reality stars.
Bartise Bowden of ‘Love Is Blind’ returns for ‘Perfect Match’
Love Is Blind fans watched Bartise fall for Nancy Rodriguez in the pods. After they got engaged, Bartise told her that he was more attracted to Raven Ross and even called her a “smoke show”. The couple also had different opinions about abortion, and Bartise told Nancy’s brother if she gained weight, he’d focus on helping her lose it instead of loving her.
The season ended with Bartise turning her down at the altar. He claimed he wanted to continue dating her, but Nancy refused to continue the relationship.

The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On shocked audiences with its very premise, let alone with what went down in Season 1. But the Netflix reality dating show’s debut season — which released Episodes 1-8 on April 6 and Episodes 9 and 10 on April 13 — was packed with its own dramatic twists, proving nothing about this series was predictable. From the two proposals in Episode 3 all the way to Madlyn Ballatori and Colby Kissinger’s baby news in the reunion, suffice it to say we’re clamoring for behind-the-scenes intel. Luckily for us, The Ultimatum’s Shanique Brown and Randall Griffin obliged. In a previous chat with TV Insider, Shanique and Randall confirmed there were no therapists involved in the show, said there were basically no rules for the participants, and revealed there were tons of deleted scenes where hosts Nick Lachey and Vanessa Lachey spent alone time with each couple. Here, Shanique ...

This past year, “The Bachelor” endured a heavy dose of controversy, the type of drama that even reality TV producers can’t make up — and certainly don’t want to deal with. And yet, the franchise has done what no other dating series has done, crossing its 20-year mark on the air.
With 26 seasons of the flagship, 19 seasons of “The Bachelorette,” eight seasons of “Bachelor in Paradise” and numerous spinoffs to date, ABC’s dating franchise isn’t going anywhere. With an international fanbase that considers “The Bachelor” to be a way of life more than a TV show, it’s entirely possible that viewers will still be watching in 20 more years.
Copycats have tried to mirror the formula. Most have failed. Turns out, the simple fairytale of limos, roses, extravagant jet-setting, tears and heartbreak isn’t so easy to replicate, as no new network hits have broken through in recent memory.

Shanique Brown and Randall Griffin are one of the few couples still standing following The Ultimatum: Marry or Move On Season 1. There's no stopping Bridgerton's impressive reign at Netflix.
The streaming service announced Tuesday that the Regency era drama that focuses on a new love story every season has broke broken its own record.
Bridgerton Season 2, which launched in March, has soared even higher than Bridgerton Season 1.
It racked up 627.11 million hours viewed throughout the first 28 days on the streamer to become the most-watched English-language show.
Bridgerton Season 1 settles for second place with 625.49 million hours viewed during the same time period.
Netflix typically makes a decision on the future of a series after assessing its performance in that first month, with some making the cut for new seasons, and others being cut short.
Fans of Bridgerton will be well aware that Netflix quickly ordered a second season, followed by a third and fourth, as well as a Queen Charlotte spinoff.
Bridgerton Season 2 this week scooped up 66.61 million hours viewed, appearing in the top 10 in 88 countries.

Over the last few years, Netflix has been on a roll when it comes to reality shows and The Ultimatum has kept that trend going.
