This episode was definitely a step up from the previous episodes, given that the previous episodes were boring and didn't give much character development. This episode depicts Sheldon warming up with his dorm mates, which is definitely more interesting compared to always being in his own bubble. George also manages to spill his emotions on the table, which is something he doesn't do often. Though the scene was short, it does show that even though Mary and George have a subpar relationship, they do care for each other. Missy and Mee Maw had a decent storyline in this episode, though nothing that really stood out to me.
Loved the refreshing nature of not having to watch the annoying college president/the secret gambling room after so many episodes of the same thing.
*The people by the dorm also seemed real nice, adding that homely feeling in my opinion.
