Wrong guy
pcppcamilla25 May 2020
That cop was an idiot. That was not a confession they practically made him say it. Not to mention they lied saying he was seen and his brother told them and they found DNA. What would any scared person say, maybe this is what happened but I wasn't with him idk. Absolute bs. And his smug face like "yay I got my first case" no, no you didn't. You laid the blame on someone to make yourself look better.

Horrible police work! Absolutely pathetic.

Warning: Spoilers
I was disgusted watching this episode. The interrogation was pathetic. They lied to the suspects and the suspect said maybe something happened and he didnt remember. There was zero evidence and they charged the man. What a disgrace to real detectives. When the detective called the prosecutor, he lied about what the suspect said. Omg These detectives are part of what is wrong with the justice system. I have no idea who these suspects were either, so my take is unbiased. I love when they catch a bad guy. I'm disgusted seeing things like this. Shame on you detectives. I do not know how you sleep at night...unless you are really that stupid and think you proved anything. Pathetic

Pathetic cops
damian500017 July 2021
As another reviewer already mentioned... Pathetic. What those cops did wasn't just heinous, it was criminal. Charges should be levelled at these officers. I hope Terry got out. Really sad story and happens too often. The general public unaware that cops and the law are often little more than organized, legal gangsters.

Clearly the confession was coerced.

They had no proof those brothers were guilty. Seemed like an eager rookie.

Detective work like this makes you want to sit and tell everyone ever picked up - to ask for a lawyer right off

Warning: Spoilers
Hard not to agree with the others. I know people in law-enforcement and it's a show like this. That's a true embarrassment to them this detectives, so pleased with himself in the end. Pretty much from the start, Once they got these two guysin their sights...they were determined to get them. When you have law enforcement in your family, you hate to see a show like this where they outright lie and manipulate to get someone to confess, because then you're always wondering what's the truth - especially with men like this that are so obviously incapacitated as far as intelligence. They can't even take care of themselves. And let's face it we expect detectives to be intelligent people but just watching the interviews. You could tell the suspect is just going along with him never saying he really did anything just saying well maybe this happened more or less to please the person doing the interview. I would think that if any jury was to watch the show or these interviews, they couldn't convict this person because it's just too questionable. Yes, he may be guilty but it's not proven by what you see in this episode. Personally, there's nothing here for that detective to be proud of, besides, for the fact that he was over, eager to win his first case, and to prove himself for the other detectives.

Sorry cops

They didn't care who they arrested. Just wanted to get anyone. Who better than a homeless person who nobody seems to care about. This is sad. Why would a&e even show this episode? Crooked cops.

Sorry Detective
geek-girl17 May 2022
I have watched this show from the beginning, thanks to Peacock, and this is the first time I have ever been absolutely disgusted by the cops. The rookie "detective" did no detecting. He wanted a win on his first case and ran with the first names he was given. He didn't explore ANY other avenue or possibility. They coerced the cr@p out of him. I felt so bad for Terry. I honestly don't think him or his brother had anything to do with it.

I will more than likely skip any future episodes that might have Detective King in it. Which is sad because I have, up to this point, liked a couple of the other officers.

And gave it no stars.
