Like many of the MSNBC shows, "The Last Word with Lawrence O'Donnell" looks at the day's events, with the host noting the subtleties not only in the stories, but about how they get discussed. And he always manages to do so seriously but humorously. The show doesn't quite have the cleverness of "Countdown with Keith Olbermann", but I like how O'Donnell presents the issues, such as when he noted why the requirements for police departments to make a certain number of arrests each year leads to mass incarceration of young black men. It's not the best show on TV, but I recommend it, along with "The Rachel Maddow Show" and "All In with Chris Hayes". MSNBC's one of the few good channels out there.

Cutting through the polite BS

Like a hot knife through butter. Lawrence O'Donnell Jr. Is one of the few people on TV that's honest and unafraid to call it like it is. It's refreshing, reassuring and emboldening for anyone with a brain in this crazy day and age.
Lawrence O'Donnell - the greatest show on MSNBC

Since Rachel Maddow has betrayed us by only doing Monday evenings (ha, ha), Lawrence O'Donnell has become my favorite show. He is straight forward, shows no mercy when it comes to Traitor and Criminal Trump, and speaks the hard-core truth. His guests are informative and amazing. He's very well-versed in anything political/congressional/Washington DC. I just discovered that he made an appearance on Homeland, which was a special treat. He interviewed Brody on his war hero thing. I've seen Homeland, but never knew he was in the first season. What a trip. Highly recommend his show. 10 PM weekdays on MSNBC.

Very disappointed.
My ODonnel said Sen Luhan from NM was from MEXICO... very dissapointed in him.. shows RACISM because of Mr, Luhan's spanish name. This was an INSULT.
I watch MSNBC probably about 15 hrs a day.
HOW can he make that mistake. OH yes.. NM also had a Spanish/American Senator from the 1950's
to the 1960's. Name was DENNIS CHAVEZ. Who's family had been in NM since the 16th century.
