Yeah, Bum Reviews aren't the funniest things on Doug Walker's website, but they're still quite good. It's a pity other people have done the joke of a self referential review like Chester does. It's hard to get that invested in something so short. It's still great because it's nice to see a take on current movies from him. This series seems to have faded over time. We first just got a video from Doug talking about it, and then this Sibling Rivalry series. Most of these simply omit the Bum Review altogether. Even the Nostalgia Critic is doing reviews of movies that just came out in theaters!
I wish this series would have more episodes. Chester A. Bum is quite funny with how he keeps doing takes and uses variations of the same jokes. I love the "I was an X once!" or "And X is like". It doesn't get old as new videos are frequently made. The series is quite minimalistic unlike the Nostalgia Critic, but still worth checking out. It's fun to have little gags go on. I hope it doesn't just stop like AskThatGuy episodes.
