Keith F. Adams and his friends exhibited the film theatrically for thirty years by four-walling it in various countries such as Australia, New Zealand, England, Canada, USA, South Africa, Rhodesia, Holland, Germany and parts of South-East Asia.
The picture broke twenty-seven box-office records in the state of Queensland in Australia.
Publicity for this picture states that the film "was the first real Australian nature film".
The make, model and color of car that the Adams family drove for their Northern Safari was a black 1948 Buick.
Keith F. Adams has said of this film: "I used to tell people about my adventures in the outback and they just wouldn't believe me, so I decided to take the movie along on this trip just to show them what it was like. I never knew it would be so popular".
