- A lot of the special effects are very badly done, but in a "so bad it's good way". This means that effects like blood spurting out of soldiers when they get shot look fake and are not realistic at all.
- Lots of kung fu and gun violence. People being shot often have "Squirts" of blood that shoot out. While, large and visible these are a digital effect and look pretty fakey. Man with blood on face. Man's throat cut (blood on shirt). Woman slapped in face. Woman shot, blood on neck. Character tortured (slapped, water thrown on them, burned w cigarette). Man choked to death. Man stabbed by wooden spears. People blown up by grenade - non graphic.
Profanity

- Shit, bitch and bastard are strewn around. One use of "faggot"; a character is name-called "diarrhea squirt" and "pussy". The video joker, on DVD, says an incomplete F-word. He also says "beat the rat" several times, which is apparently a euphemism for sex.
