Although IMDb once listed this as a 1959 film, there are several indicators that it was made much later. A Tuppeware factory is shown, and among the cars driving by are a 1960 Buick and a 1961 Buick Special. Also, during the "Jubilee" convention, several top salespeople are shown being awarded new Ford Mustangs as prizes. The Ford Mustang didn't come out until April 1964.
The Unimate robot seen in this film was the world's first industrial robot, initially used on a General Motors assembly line at a plant in New Jersey. It was not developed by Tupperware as intimated in this film, but was merely adapted and programmed for use on its manufacturing line.
This cannot be 1959. The show "Hello Dolly" opened on Broadway in January 1964 and its title song is performed here with modified lyrics.
This cannot be 1959 because the Canadian flag flying at the Tupperware plant in Quebec is the one adopted in February 1965.
The corporate headquarters of Tupperware in Orlando Florida seen here would later be the site of The Tupperware Museum, whose exhibits included one on the history of the Tupperware Corporation, as well as a comprehensive collection refered to as Containers Through the Ages. Among the tidbits of useful information one could glean from visiting the museum is the fact that the act of releasing excess trapped air from Tupperware containers, commonly called "burping," is officially known to the Tupperware sales force by the less offensive monicker of "whisping."
