We continue JLo's meltdown and get back to the long walks, the fake-outs, and the devastation, in the airplane hangar tonight.
First: Karen Rodriguez She sang her final song in Spanish and she's in.
Next: Robbie Rosen who the judges haved liked all along. He does Elton for his final number and is in.
Next: Tatynisa Wilson who wowed with her final audition of Toni Braxton's "Unbreak My Heart." She's in.
Next: We get a quick "no thanks" one two punch to Brittany Mazur and Jimmie Allen.
Next: Tim Halperin who does an original for his final song and gets a qualified yes. He's in.
Next: Julie Zorilla who has been a judges favorite from the beginning and, of course, is in.
Next: Scotty McCreery how could they turn him down. You knew they wouldn't.
Next: John Wayne Schulze who gets a no because the judges didn't think he quite measure up.
Next: Jovany Barreto gets a yes.
Next: As does Lauren Turner.
Next: The news is less good for Tiwan Strong and Erin Kelly who both get the see ya smackdown.
Next: Rachel Zevita for whom the second time's the charm because she's in.
Next: Kendra Chantelle who sang "Blackbird" last night. She is in but we don't see her "yes" and instead she does a fake out of the room.
Next: Jordan Dorsey the one who caused a lot of drama on group night by ditching his group and was very confident is, in.
Next: Judge favorite Lauren Alaina who got Steven Tyler to sing with her way back at the beginning. Unsurprisingly, she's in.
Next: Stefano Langone who sang an original song at the piano for his final audition. He is in.
Next: Jackie Wilson who forgot her lyrics during her final audition. JLo says she fizzled out at the end and she is out.
Next: Jacob Lusk the big showy oversinger that the judges love. (Yes he's incredibly skilled but man he way overdoes it, witness his "God Bless the Child.") An easy yes, they think he's one of the best ever. He's very happy.
Next: Pia Toscano who impressed the judges all along and with her final song gets a yes.
Next: James Durbin tried to show control on his final song Sam Cooke's "A Change is Gonna Come" and not scream so much. Apparently, it worked, even though he totally screams from the midpoint to the end, because he's in. Tyler thinks he's going big places.
Next: Casey Abrams the groovy guy who plays bass and melodica. His final song was an attempt at "sexy" with a voice and bass version of "Do Right." He's in.
Next: We get the final two girls going at once for the final slot. Unsurprisingly, again, it's a yes for judge favorite 15-year-old Thia Megia and a no for Jessica Cunningham which is tough since it's her birthday and it's her seventh time auditioning. Of course it's hard for Thia to celebrate.
Next: The final three guys Jacee Badeau, Brett Lowenstern, Colton Dixon compete for the final slot. The judges say they loved them and all the final slot goes to Brett in the night's very first surprise. They ask Jacee and Colton to please come back.
