The Bloodthirsty Butchers are a Japanese band that have been around since 1987. Consisting of founder, singer guitarist & princible songwriter Hideki Yoshimura, bassist Takeshi Imoriya, Drummer Masahiro Komatsu, and lead guitarist Hisako Tabuchi, this documentary looks at what has kept them going, and how they are struggling to keep going in an industry more interested in making money than music. The film takes it's name 'Kocorono' from what is considered their best album, and features interviews, early and recent concert footage, studio disagreements, and humor.
The main movie has English subtitles, however the extras (and there are a lot) don't, which was my only disappointment and the reason it doesn't get 10/10.
