The film was awarded in almost all the festivals where it was shown.
The film was based on a true story (three young guys found a big amount of money on a sidewalk). In real life, the director was one of the three characters involved. The writer Daphnis Boelens completely changed the story, turning it into a "Film Noir", ending with a violent face-to-face.
Daphnis Boelens and Zeki Hacikerimoglu met on another set (a Belgian-Turkish feature film), where Zeki was working as the assistant-director, and Daphnis as the screenwriter and as an actor coach. They started working on this short a few months later. About 10 different drafts were written by Daphnis, tackling as many different film genres as comedy, drama, and docu-fiction.
