It seems like the majority of shorts I watch lack a necessary spark to draw me in and keep me interested, but this is definitely not the case with "Curtain Call." This short is beautifully written and executed from start to finish. The story is one that most anyone can easily relate to, and the writing is perfect. Glenn Payne's performance is outstanding and memorable, and he and Casey Dillard (also a wonderful talent) work so well together. I have rarely been so impressed with every aspect of a film, and I wish I could have experiences like this more often. "Curtain Call" is a rare gem, and I highly recommend it. This is filmmaking at its best, people!
