- In the story mode, Andre bishop is badly beating. He's hit with a crow bar, then punched and kick. Pretty violent, with lots of blood
- Should definitely be a moderate, the violence is pretty harsh, the sound effects, the way it Ruins the fighters visions, causing ringing, and how blood can be caused from cuts, covering a fighter in blood.
- Bare knuckle mode is the most brutal. The gloves are off, and fighters can easily bleed, and have horrible injuries. Definitely should earn this game a moderate instead of mild.
- It's a boxing game! The fighting is realistically portrayed, but rarely over the top.

- The F word can be heard in the story mode, that is where the "Strong Language" comes from, mostly out of rage, the words hell and damn are used occasionally. shit is used twice in the game but they are said in cutscenes which can be skipped.

- The game is very intense
- At the beginning of the game, there is a scence where the hero is beaten up in a prison shower room by four inmates, which is quite intense and leaves the hero hospitalised.
