• Glen Tetley : It's such an ephemeral career, and I have been blessed because I entered it with a love of dancing, fortunate enough to have a multi-faceted career as a dancer, and as a performer. And then that I could have a second career where my desires were going beyond my own body into the world of the choreographer and being able to not just live inside other people's work but to create my own. And I hope it goes on forever, I know it won't, I know it won't. That I will not ever be one of those choreographers who choreograph sitting in a chair, I never, I never will be. When I can no longer move, that will be it.

• Glen Tetley : The biggest impact of dance always to me has been that it is a special language, and it's perhaps the deepest language we have. What might be trite, said in words, in movement can be powerful. When it's at its most concentrated form, it's a powerhouse of expression and it's of utmost simplicity at the same time.
