I was surprised to see Nica Noelle's credits in IMDb as auteur for this Girlfriends Films after watching it -because the video does not resemble her familiar work at Sweetheart Video at the time. In any event, it is a stimulating, hot number in the series.
Come-on title on the DVD box is misleading: "Lesbian PsychoDramas 3: Saving Brea". Brea, in the form of Brea Bennett, doesn't need saving so this dramatic moniker is intentionally misleading. In fact, Brea is no victim or potential victim but more of a troublemaker.
Premise is built around incest, which in a tradition dating back to "Tom Jones" restoration era novels and modern porn like "A Scent of Heather", the incest angle is dangled tantalizingly only to be neutralized later.
That element occurs when house guest Heather Starlet (taken in after a tough childhood) discovers the mother-daughter team she's living with are practicing incest. Yes, real incest, not the humbug step-mother nonsense these videos usually trot out. First dramatic vignette has Brea seducing Heather on the promise that she will stop having sex with mom in return.
Casting is good because Brea resembles mom Tanya Tate, other than Tate's inevitable British aspect. Scene heads for a threesome, but Heather leaves tactfully early on. Overall, the sex is hot enough to make up for the unconvincing ease with which Brooke gives in.
Final vignette is loosely related to what's gone before. In a lavish mansion setting, with large indoor pool and luxurious trappings, Tanya arrives as massage therapist to statuesque Anita Dark, the European star who in the past decade has made dozens of lesbian appearances exclusively for Girlfriends as perhaps the most glamorous actress on their roster.
Dark makes a disparaging remark about lesbians, but Tanya coolly controls herself, rubbing oil into Anita's flesh and biding her time. Sure enough, when her hands stray to Anita's vagina, a series of orgasms erupt and Ms. Dark changes her tune. The segment is related to the video's main drama by the patter between the women, culminating apres-sex with Tanya's promise to bring Brea along next time.
