The Cinema Snob (2009)
"Frankenstein Island"
In this now long-running series, writer-director Brad Jones play the title character, the Cinema Snob, a mainstream or high art critic who decides to review some of the most notoriously bad movies ever made. Since the original episode this series has grown to have a very high cult following and fans from around the world.
It's hard to believe that it took 35 episodes for The Cinema Snob to reach the cinema of Jerry Warren since most believes he's the worst director in the history of cinema. This episode takes a look at Warren's last film, which was released in 1980 but, as the Snob points out, it looks like it was made a decade earlier, which leads to a rather funny joke. Overall this is another very good episode as the Snob makes fun of just about everything from the Frankenstein family history to John Carradine showing up once in a while to give a bad speech. There's also a pretty funny bit dealing with some of Warren's previous films including TEENAGE ZOMBIES.
