This series debuted in 2009 and I saw the final two episodes in 2016 and reviewed them in imdb, and only now have I finally watched episode 2, set in Vietnam. So a long gap between reviews (seven years).
I especially liked seeing Rick travel through Vietnam and learning the cuisine and walking the streets. My only gripe was when Rick asked one of the Americans of Vietnamese descent whether Vietnamese in America were seeking to return to Vietnam. It's like asking whether Britons in Western Australia are desperate to return to the United Kingdom.
Anyway, apart from that, this series is worth watching for sure, with Rick catching up with cooking experts. I'd like for Rick to revisit these countries and also go to Papua New Guinea.
