Shows a teenager stuck in choosing the gay life or his parents ignorant opinions of being gay

I'm sure there are teenagers out there that are confused with their sexuality because they are living in a conservative strict family home and have no right to say who they love. I mean, it happens in all religions like it doesn't have to be just Christianity! Any parents in the world can be strict on their children based on who they love!

I felt so sorry for the character Matthew in the end, it broke my heart that he lied to them in order to get away from them and live with his brother. Although I would be worried that the brother is overdosing on the drugs the parents caught him with, I just hope that he looks after his younger brother well. It's too bad this film was a short, I just would loved to have seen what happens next!

Really good short and I liked the main characters humour in it too!

A very emotionally moving short film, that would make for a great movie.

I've seen a lot of short films in my life, but none have been as deeply emotional as this one.

Why Does God Hate Me may have comedic elements, but I took the whole thing a lot more seriously, which was the real undertone of the film.

The true message of the film is that we should all be tolerant of gay people, and that the state of being gay is not some sort of disease, or something that can be cured.

I found the acting and scene structure to be even better than some major Hollywood features. The younger actors did an excellent job in their roles, which is not an easy thing to do, but they managed to convey the character's emotion perfectly without over acting.

I can only hope the director goes on to make more great films like this, or even make this short into a feature movie, like what happened with Lights Out.
