She leaves and he yells at her to stay away from the reservation.
Linden pulls up at the reservation. A shotgun-wielding Brays is blocking the road and reminds Linden she has no jurisdiction there. Brays says the last she saw, Holder was boarding a ferry. Linden say if she and Holder don't get off the island the case will go federal. She says Seattle PD will be there any minute, which Brays doesn't seem to buy. At that moment a number of cruisers pull up from behind Linden. Brays leaves.

Linden meets with Mary, who found Rosie's backpack, at her uncle's barbershop. She says she found it in the dumpster and thought she should turn it in so her family could help find her killer. Mary says Rosie was a maid like her and occasionally waited tables, but was not a prostitute. She has ammonium hydroxide on her fingers because Jackson used cheap cleaning products. It's the same chemical that was found on Rosie. Rosie wasn't on the schedule the night she was killed, and Mary doesn't know why she was there. She thinks Mary might have been going up the 10th floor, which is where they would take smoke breaks.

Before he gets on the plan she tells him that no matter what happens he'll get through it "because you are my boy, Jack. You are my baby, and you are strong." Just after Jack gets on the plane Holder arrives at the terminal, having gotten a good-bye call from Jack.
Adams makes a point to question Richmond about his whereabouts that night.
