- The plot centers around Al-Falaki, an astrologist married to a lady half his age. His behavior is marked by mystery and tranquility. On New Year's Day, Al-Falaki meets with one of the country's most prominent broadcasters to have a passionate dispute over his truth, whether he is an astrologist, as he says, or a fraud who hides his truth behind the veil of science. However, Al-Falaki dies. Therefore the events of the film will take a trip through the explanation of Al-Falaki's unexpected and abrupt death. The detective and his helper summon his wife and brother to determine what transpired. They also investigated the building residents where Al-Falaki and his wife lived. The investigator picked up on an exciting thread after speaking with the doorman of that building that the dead man's brother used to frequent his house in his absence, leading the investigator to suspect an emotional relationship between the dead man's wife and his brother. Moreover, after listening to their statements about the incident, he confronts them with the truth. The investigator set off another surprise that Al-Falaki's brother was the one who reported Al-Falaki's death and accused his wife of that crime to hurry and inherit it from that man who she married in the first place for his money. After the officer connects the dots in front of the accused, he orders their transfer to the prosecution. Still, he receives an answer from forensic medicine to disturb him with the euphoria of his victory that the death of Al-Falaki has no criminal suspicion, which leaves him in a state of confusion and question as he looks at the books stored in the astronomer's library to withdraw from their midst a Quran that opens for him. The library's walls disclose a secret room filled with candles and talismans.
