I think this short film is amazing. I am in awe of Samuel's talent and self awareness at such a young age. He said , he wanted to be a filmmaker & he is. AMAZING film. Amazing director. I was really touched by the fact that Sabastiaon ( Samuel's character) used running to ease his sadness. I liked the fact Sabastian's shoes were always untied. It added light humor to the film and sweetness to the character of Sabastian. The scenery was beautiful. The sky and the grass, just lush and vibrant. How about the hummingbird? How was Samuel able to film that hummingbird? I liked the filmmakers use of his real life grandfather , in the film and his cousin, Kayleen Malaya Caruana, who played Vanessa. Overall, I would and have recommended this film. I would love to see how it would do in a festival.
