Episode 2 of The Crowded Room has mixed results and feels like a filler episode, lacking real story progression and a closer understanding of the characters. Ariana remains an unsolvable enigma, and the episode's lack of sense makes it disappointing. The central crime and police findings remain unknown, and Rya and Danny are talking in riddles. While this may be a clever storytelling device in the future, The Crowded Room is losing its audience's attention. In Episode 2, Rya visits a boarding house and discovers a blood splatter on Ariana's room. She leaves the house, unsure of what to do. Danny, Marlin, and his mother return, insisting he return. Marlin threatens him, but Danny and Yitzhak calm him down. Danny agrees to stay at the house, and they leave reluctantly. They embark on a journey with Yitzhak, who is a coincidence. The Israeli makes the house rules clear to Danny, who wants a place to stay. Ariana takes time to open up to him, but their friendship grows. She is guarded about her personal details and is often abrupt with him. Danny, a kind and mysterious person, believed Ariana was a kind person who had experienced a lot of hardships. He invited her to a party at his place, where Jonny and Mike promised to bring weed, alcohol, and people. Ariana was introduced to them while they were doing drugs. As the night progressed, they became closer, but Ariana interrupted them and started making out with Annabelle. Danny only saw Annabelle in the morning. There is still confusion over their characters' sexualities. Ariana and Danny hang out and watch a movie together, but Ariana is confronted by a strange man named Benny. Ariana, a bisexual woman, attends rave parties and engages in sexual activities, including drinking, dancing, and flirting with strangers. She has been intimate with Jerome and close to Grace. After leaving the club, Ariana fights with Jerome, who confesses his love for her. She breaks his heart and runs away. Rya believes she was a liability and her unpredictable nature put Danny in danger. She seeks answers about who got rid of Ariana, but Danny does not respond. The episode ends with Ariana walking into a mysterious place filled with water and unconscious people.
