Great adaptation!

For those who love Charles Bukowski it is definitely one of the best adaptation. I am a fan of Bukowski and did not expect it to be so decent since movies usually corrupt the original story. But this one is really great! The actors were just like from Bukowski's books. Also the energy and colors in the movie are just right. As always Bukowski expresses his philosophy through dirty realism. His heroes are not Batman or Superman. His heroes are fallen angels. They test their own limits and find their own truth to reality. Instead of showing refined characters (like in typical Hollywood movies) Bukowski reveals the raw and true nature - really naked, so naked that sometimes a reader or a viewer might feel embarrassed. It takes a brave and an honest viewer to see this film and to relate the characters to yourself.
