Sex & Nudity
-
- Augustine appears unclothed several times, usually in a non-sexual situation (as a patient being examined or treated). One of these scenes lasts a minute or two. A couple of other times her bare breast is visible. Near the end of the film she is seen partially unclothed in a sexual situation, although the cinematic situation is more descriptive than erotic.
Violence & Gore
-
- Augustine follows an instruction to behead a chicken being prepared for a meal. The headless chicken does what headless chickens do, and the camera is unsparing.
Profanity
-
- None.
Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking
-
- Several people smoke and some appear to imbibe alcohol, though there is no drunkenness.
Frightening & Intense Scenes
-
- The chicken dinner scene will be unpleasant for the queasy. There is a subtly implied rape while Dr Chacot is away, but the act can only be inferred; it is not depicted.
