- Beginning of the journey at the cliffs of Moher: Ismaël meets there Chris Kelly (the manager of "Trad on the Prom" and also musician), they see at Dara Kelly and two other boys dancing an Irish Dance: then Dara shows Ismaël the basic steps of Irish Dancing and Ismaël dances with them.After that Chris and Ismaël travel to Galway by motorbike: they walk on the promenade, make the ritual of the foot kick against the black rock and walk through the center towards the Front Door Pub: there they meet Máirín Fahy (the spouse of Chris and violinist).Then Ismaël and Máirín walk through the town, she shows him the place where Ed Sheeran begin as a street musician) and arrive at the cathedral: beautiful stained glasses, ground of Connemara marble and an extraordinary acoustics: Máirín plays violin. On the morning Ismaël goes to the pier and swims in the sea.Then he meets Máirín : she plays "Les lacs de Connemara" on the violin and Ismael sings the letters of this song of Michel Sardou.Later they visit a fish market and eat fried cod: they go to the "Monroe's Pub" where Márín, Chris and some parents play an Irish Dance and Dara and his friends dance this Irish dance: Then Ismaël travels to Kylemore Abbey where he meets John O'Toole, the chef at Kylemore: in 1857 Mitchell Henry , a rich English doctor,bought this place of 400 hectares and the castle was built in 1869 for his wife Margaret: in 1920 Kylemore became an Abbey.There are Victorian garden where Anja Gohlke, the main gardener takes care for many old varieties of plants : in the garden Tom and Ismaël pick garlic and carrots and they prepare a carrot cake that they taste later.After that Ismaël takes a ferry to the island of Achill where he meets Orla Calvey: they make a bike tour, see at the "Caislean Ghrainne" the castle of Grace O'Malley, the Queen of the Pirates: suddenly it's raining and they enter in a pub (without television, without radio): the people joy to be together (friendliness): Orla and Ismaël drink an Irish coffee.After that they meet Martin Calvey, Orla's father , among his Galway sheep herd: he is choosing the lambs (the meat will be sent to his daughter who is butcher and to hotels and restaurants).Orla manages an equestrian center and they have a horseback riding in the island: they see a ghost village ( the farmers went away during the famine in 1845-1847). Besides we see zooms about the Wild Atlantic Way (the female cyclists, the retiree and his old car, the surfer), about Galway (the food tour, the seaweed farm, and the chef JP McMahon), about the Gaelic language), about the Galway hookers , about the Irish folk singers, about the Uilleann pipe, about the castle of Ashford, about the falconry and the salmon fishing, about the bogs , about Inish Bofin and about the hurling (history and rules of the game, the carpenter who makes hurleys)—zutterjp48
