The music is pretty good. Kind of cheesy. The music starts right away and goes from there. Then past part dancers are pretty nice for being old haha ... it gets the point across for sure. Somtimes mouths dont line up with words. Some funny parts. Touching parts and etc.. We found this on Tube.. it was free woohoooo.. Good movie for the kidos. Shows being selfish canhave real life backfire. This happens in a real way.

It also shows how we can get caught up in Christmas the physical shoping.and heatic tjat we forget why we are supposed to be doing this. Even if its not Jesus real Birthday we can celebrate him. Should be everyday but for some this will.be their only day.

An interesting Christmas film that nails the true meaning of Christmas

Warning: Spoilers
I saw this movie and was blown away by its quality given the budget. Excellent directing, well-written & modern musical scores topped off with some promising young actors. Loved the two teenage leads. Lawson Touliatos was exceptional in his portrayal of Jake, a modern and skeptic teenage kid who doesn't understand the true meaning of Christmas until a wide unfolding of events lands him back in Bethlehem on the night of Jesus' birth. The breadth and depth of musical genres within the score were entertaining, particularly the rap songs within the first century flashback.

Hope to see more Christmas films like this in the future. This is a must see Christmas film this year.

Rare Christmas Movie Musical! Super Fun!
FilmGuy90s8 December 2022
So I'm usually not big into musicals, but THIS was a very fun spin with great music and dance numbers. It actually took me by surprise. If you're a fan of High-school Musical, imagine fusing in a Christmas classic and Scrooge. Just when I thought I had seen all the ways to show a "Scrooge" turn from his selfish ways, this movie puts a teenage guy on the naughty list and turns him into a defender for good. Without spoilers, it takes a familiar story like "The Christmas Carol" and uses teens and timeless ghosts to sing the story in a fun exciting way. Yes it's unique and worth watching with your kids. Filming, performances and story was top notch. Music was amazing!
