So i just finished the videogame/movie and was just really disappointed: the mise en scene feel too much fake or static or exaggerate (whispers, dialogues meaningless), the shots was no that interesting even if i appreciate the lights, the story was clearly empty and needed a proper direction or purpose because it really lack of intentions. And some choices that we make really feel just to pass time and make it not that interesting or impactful. Just to precise that i had a good ending. I successfully escape the weird maze at the end and save Eleanor but i really hate how the "dad" tell the truth to his girl. Its clearly rushed and we feel kind of disappointed because it just ended suddenly. More disappointment.
I really think that it lack of direction and purpose thats the big problem in that FMV game. It clearly talk about nothing (relationship between dad and daughter? No because he is not the real dad, some memories of the old times that we dont know about, the cliché about the "bad and good cop", some meaningless talks). Everything fell apart and that mise en scene that suppose to bring interest, curiousity or make us think just instead make us uncomfortable, uninterest, make us bored. Just avoid the game sadly. I hope something better but it fell apart pretty quick. Sadly.
