Lady Felicia returns for a visit to Kembleford, she's quick to protest at an exclusive all men's club, just before it's bully of an owner is killed.
It may not have been as sharp as last week's, but still a fine episode, it has a good storyline, some very nice characters, including a face from the past and an interesting (if obvious) conclusion.
It is one of those storylines that's perhaps seen with the eyes of a 2023 audience, Gentlemen's clubs were commonplace at that time, would Lady Felicia really have been so outraged, I'm not sure about that.
Brenda Palmer is back after her first appearance in the previous series episode, The Wayward Girls, she made for a really nice addition to the show.
I really enjoyed the sparring between Lady Felicia and Mrs Devine, it was inevitable, and worked very well, infrared they'd get on line a house on fire, fortunately they didn't. Mrs Devine continues to impress.
8/10.
