Resurrected Settings: The Filming Locations Today (2011)
*** (out of 4)
This is a fun 10-minute featurette that can be found on the MORE BRAINS! A RETURN TO THE LIVING DEAD disc. Original cast members Brian Peck and Beverly Randolph take us on a tour around the Los Angeles area to show us various locations that were used in the movie. These include the UneedA Medical Supply building, the interior and exterior of the cemetery, the police block-aid sequence, the punk rockers first appearance against the wall as well as Kenny Myers' home where the tar man sequence was shot. Fans of THE RETURN OF THE LIVING DEAD will enjoy this look at how these locations appear today and needless to say you'll never tell that this movie was shot on these spots. The locations today are completely different but the most amazing thing is seeing where they actually shot the interiors of the cemetery and you really have to give them credit for making it look so realistic in the film. Randolph and especially Peck are very entertaining as hosts as they offer up some behind-the-scenes stories including a very good one about Linnea Quigley getting into the producer's car naked.
