Harry got some ok comedy bits as did sheriff, but the rest was terrible.
Interesting to see the pr team from walking dead has been hired to address the bad reviews here. All bad reviews but also all voted down, and no one has a good thing to say about this show now, mostly because they've all stopped watching.
The real life alien experience interviews had no relevance to the mess of a story being dragged along, which we're kind of used to for this season but even so it reeked of a work experience script team member managing to get their below average idea green lite when it should have been red binned.
It just didn't make any sense. They were trying and failing to link it to real alien experience people, and it's a stupid comedy show where Alan Tudyk riffs off the one note theme of the show, he's an alien with bad manners who does what we'd like to do, ie be rude, eat to much and fake his way through life.
D'arcy's bit was painful. I get that it was a set up for a weak joke ("alien reveal, not the big thing he thought it would be etc" haha), but she's overstayed her welcome as a character and it kinda ruined the gag.
This bus ride is over and I think we're all getting off at this stop, wishing we'd got off at last seasons final episode instead. This season has been a drag in 2 parts, and they could have addressed it after the first half of the season had aired, but they pretty much stayed the course apart from cutting back on the lashings of moralising and lecturing.
Unfortunately the series has been renew for a 3rd season but I can't see this series coming right. It's a shame cos Alan Tudyk did a good job, and I did like the dynamic between some of the other characters, sheriff mike and the kids mostly.
