So, Dawn moves to NYC and gets her big singing break in attending the Sarah Bernhardt School for Performing Arts, meets Tricia, her roommate, at a boarding house where Lillian's friend, Agnes, is the landlady and she gives Dawn a hard time. But she also meets Michael Sutton, a famous music teacher at the school she attends, who she ends up in a close relationship with and gets pregnant with his baby. Unfortunately, he leaves her high and dry. Living with her consequences, she leaves school and comes to live with a nasty Emily Booth who is Lillian's sister at The Meadows, an isolated plantation, and is subjected to even more abuse by her. Emily delivers Dawn's baby and taken it away under Lillian's orders. But why and what happens after that is a reason you have to keep watching this juicy 4-parter!!!!
